Hello parental units, I am here to talk to you about snack bags—our little heroes.

If your kids are like, well, kids, then they love their snacks. Every time is snack time. Going in the car? Snack time. Sitting down to watch a movie? Snack time. Staring at some walls? Snack time.

What makes snack bags so great is that they simplify your life while making the kids happy. But they also have the added benefit of always being the same size. Have you ever made the mistake of giving your kids too much of a snack and having them expect that much every time? Snack bags solve that one, too. Joking aside, using snack bags is a great way to portion out food so your kids know what to expect, and so they don’t end up overeating.

I’ve found that it’s the little things in parenting that make all the difference. Adding just a little order to the chaos can turn a bad day into a fun day.

The added bonus is that no one said snacks have to be unhealthy. Grapes, cheese, simple crackers, even raisins can be great options without worrying about overeating or eating unhealthy foods. Of course, we must also make room for things like chocolate and the like, but they don’t need to be the main choices.

Something as simple as a bag of snacks can make unexpected trips, or days short on time, much more manageable. It’s a small thing that can make both you and your kids happier and help lead to that elusive “good day” we all seek.
